This is my first range finder so take what I'm telling you with caution. I find the range finder part of the unit accurate, but it's difficult to get the crosshairs to pick up smaller to medium-sized targets and objects, and even harder to read the information displayed because it's written in black letters. Black font seems like a bad choice, orange would be better and maybe more expensive rangefinders have such options. From what has been said, I would recommend that you look for something better, but I don't know more.
