Great concept! no wire? Well! However, there are too many glitches. First, battery life. After more than 8 hours of charging, I lost a strip within 2 hours. I haven't tried the new firmware so I'm not sure if it's fixed or not. Second. motion detection. I set up two different cameras pointing in the same direction for over an hour. Another camera of Yi's caught everything, even my neighbor's cat. However, this cami cam received NOTHING. He even missed a big school bus. Missed by UPS, AMAZON trucks too. Within an hour he received only two cars. More than ten vehicles simply drove past undetected. The PIR sensor is the problem I think. Spoke to Kami Tech Support but they blamed my SD card. I tried three different SD cards, none wrote the file because the camera didn't detect any motion. I would not buy a camera with a PIR sensor. Finally, the wifi is very bad. I placed the camera within 5ft of my router but it would often lose wifi and had to try multiple times to connect to the camera to get a live stream while another Yi camera located on another Floor was immediately established a connection. A major firmware update is required.
