I already had printer cables. But I bought a new desktop PC and found that it only has 3 standard rectangular USB ports. The problem was that I already had a wireless mouse and keyboard already using 2 ports and I needed to connect a black and white laser printer and a color inkjet printer. Then I discovered that the PC also has two high-speed oval USB ports for printers. "style" (Type C) Hi-Speed USB connectors. Problem solved. No compatibility issues with my two printers and my desktop. Everything worked perfectly from the start.
