Never wash it in the dishwasher; therefore difficult to clean.
Item has chipped nails after being washed once in the top rack of the dishwasher. This is after I smeared it with lemon oil hoping it didn't dry out (item was completely, I mean completely dry on arrival). It works fine, but you should probably hand wash and it's going to be difficult with all those nails. If I had to do it again, I would use something else.
