Absolutely love it! An affordable but quality leather notebook alternative to Travelers Notebook and sized to fit the Field Notes booklets! I have an TN passport size cover, but I much prefer this size. That extra inch of space makes a lot of difference for Journaling. This size is still small enough to use as an everyday carry.The leather is very nice. Not thin and floppy like cheaper notebook covers. The finish is smooth not velvety and looks like it will scratch and wear nicely. It is shipped in a protective cloth bag. The elastics included with this notebook are quite thick and use a metal clamp on the ends. It is a cheaper metal and not very pretty. However, all the elastic ties go thru the spine of the cover, so nothing shows once you have the inserts inside. My personal preference is for the thinner elastic used in Travelers Notebook, but this is easy enough to swap out.
