Review on Hardwired Magnifier Spinning Retractable MPWD3185BZ1X7X by Tim Hollinger

This is a beautiful mirror and finish that pairs best with antique bronze bathroom fixtures. Installation was easy. BUT after installation I didn't like that the mounting base itself didn't meet the requirements. I attached the base plate securely to the wall using three drywall anchors and a stud screw, the weak point is how the mounting plate attaches to the base of the light fixture. The fixture does not have the correct rigidity and sags, and even with the mirror extended (as in the working position) the base will bend away from the wall and mounting plate under its own weight. It's so close to being a great piece but I'm afraid it won't last long with daily use.
