I usually use Erno Lazlo's activated charcoal cleaner but they didn't stock it at Sephora so thought I'd give it a try. To my surprise it's a warming gel when it comes out of the pump and I thought maybe that was an improvement over the regular product. However, within a few weeks my skin would break out with pimples, which is what happens when I don't use an activated charcoal cleanser. It didn't work for me and I went back to Erno.
