These shorts are good for wearing around the house or doing yard work in my backyard. I wouldn't wear them in public, though. They are so unflattering that I am thinking of returning them. The cut is boxy and very roomy. I'm not sure if a size small would be the answer. I purchased a medium so I would have room to bend while doing yard work. But I look like I'm wearing a pair of my dad's Bermuda shorts!I will likely return these. They are just not my style. If you need comfort more than style, these shorts are for you.
