I bought these shoes for a trip to Hawaii and now wear them for any water sport or hike where it might get wet. They survived a 17 mile kayak, an 8 mile mud hike across a river, swimming, beach days etc. No blisters even when my girlfriend's feet were injured in hiking sandals. I think they would be great for theme parks with water slides. They're easy to put on and take off (even when wet), drain quickly, and dry fairly quickly once the inserts are removed. I'm a size 9, although I usually go to a size 9.5 in sneakers. I bought them at 9 and they were great with or without socks. 9.5 is probably fine too. I love her!
