ATTENTION! This is not a soft foam pillow; but it's a good HARD pillow
I was initially disappointed to find that this pillow is NOT SOFT; it is VERY STRONG. So I tried soft pillows instead. Many of us I think expect something soft to relieve back pain. But in the end (pun intended - got it?) I went back to this product and found that the firm support it gave me was actually better for both my glutes and my back. So I simply rewrote my initial negative review and changed my rating from one star to four stars. Try this pillow and you'll see what I mean. This product is well made and sturdy.
