First, my dog is small but under 8 pounds. I installed it according to the instructions. Once I was happy with all of the settings, I adjusted the tone, vibration, and shock to the lowest level #1. I got my dog out on the leash and went to the perimeter - poor guy thinks he jumped so loud and jumped screaming - had to pull him out of the zone and he recovered. I took it off, touched the diodes and went back into the zone which hit me so hard I had to drop it immediately - the impact was like touching my 110V house wiring - it would hit a dog of any size seriously hurt! There were five 4 and 5 star reviews on my order. This review was removed and re-added by Revain and now only has a 1 star rating (how can this happen!) Never buy this product - it's cruel!
