Update as of 9/20/2022 - Unfortunately it took my review to finally hear back from someone in sales. Did hear from Austin Z and he really stepped up to help me secure a new scooter. My experience with Austin was great and I have to thank him for doing a great job. After setting up my scooter, everything looks and works great so far. Have updated my stars from 1 to 4. can't give a 5 because of my original experience. Really great scooter, and very well built compared to others.--------------------Initial review: Full disclosure: I have yet to ride my scooter because mine came with a broken/damaged controller panel. My issue isn't the scooter itself, I am actually looking forward to FINALLY riding the damn thing. Unfortunately, Revain only issues a refund not a replacement, so they set me up to connect with the manufacturer since I have a 1 year warranty. Initially my contact with a customer service rep was great, but working with the warranty department, via email only, has been rather frustrating. They are clearly outside the U.S. because they only respond between 2am to 5am when you are freakin' asleep. I have sent pics and a video as they requested. It took a few days for a response and they said they would send a return label to ship the whole thing back AND once received, they would ship a replacement. Now we are talking at least 3+ weeks before a replacement is shipped on top of the 10+ days I've been emailing back and forth with these people. It is incredibly upsetting and frustrating. The customer service rep I spoke to initially said that instead of a full replacement, it would be easy to send me a replacement handle where the controller sits and was the likely route the warranty department would take since it's a simple controller wire to disconnect to connect the new handle. So to my surprise, they went the other route and it took for me to mention what the rep told me for them to say, oh we can do that if you want. SERIOUSLY! 🤬.I also have asked several times for this handle/controller to be express shipped to me and also requested a supervisor to reach out to me and absolutely no response!I reading the reviews and looking at other brands, I decided to buy the Gotrax, now I am starting to regret this decision and may wind up returning it to Revain for a full refund and purchase their competitor's instead.Expected a follow-up on Friday and still no response. seems they don't work on weekends! If they redeem themselves within the next 48 hours, I will edit my review. Photo and video attached.
