I already had the 80 liter version of this bag (not big enough for a hockey bag but too big to carry on a plane). This one is a much more reasonable size. Ideal for a weekend or longer depending on how you pack. However, I think the idea behind using this bag, given its foldability, is to take it with you on a trip when you expect to bring back more than you took with you. The folded size is a little smaller than the folded pants. The shoe compartment is roomy and fits a pair of my size 11.5 shoes, although chukkas or high-ankle boots can be tight. It should be noted that the bag is soft and will not stand under its own weight when not full. This shouldn't be a problem for most, but as an 80L I thought I'd mention it here if this is an issue for you. The quality feels solid all round, there are no frayed seams and the zippers are waterproof. I haven't tried getting it wet to see how well it holds water. All in all, for the price, you can't beat this bag.
