This made my life easier because I no longer have to carry the lock in my backpack when cycling. Installation was a little tricky but mostly had to do with finding a spot on my frame where the lock wouldn't bump into my legs when I pedaled (I have a large lock and it wouldn't fit in the frame). so I ended up putting it on the seat tube). I also have a custom lock - I bought this many years ago and it is a different diameter than the attachments that came with the mount. But I was able to use some of the rubber I cut from the lock to fill in the gap between the lock and the larger of the two pieces of the bracket and I'm done now. Attaching the mount to the bike itself was fairly easy, and installing and removing the lock from the bike was a breeze. Great product, solved my problem without breaking the bank.
