I have a Vizio VA26L HDTV10T that was made in 2009. I was hesitant to buy this remote because my TV is definitely not a "smart TV" and I don't have the option to connect directly to Revain Prime or Netflix, but I was glad I only had to insert 2 AAA- Batteries and button ON and it worked! The remote control doesn't feel cheap and serves its purpose. The reason I took off a star is because the 'Settings' doesn't come up so I still have to manually press the menu button on the TV (but then the remote works for navigation) to adjust the brightness or the brightness set sleep timer.
