Review on Enhanced Sony 4GB PX Series MP3 Digital Voice IC Recorder With Advanced Built-In Stereo Microphone by Raj Mazzabufi

I bought this voice recorder 2 years ago and found it excellent with a few minor issues. It's very well designed - issues I've had with previous Sony voice recorders have been eliminated or fixed in this one. It's easy to use, has good battery life, and allows me to copy recorded notes directly to my computer in .wav format. Then I convert them to mp3 at 40 kbps to save space. Some issues: It would be useful to have an on-demand LED to show the time etc in the dark. The microSD slot cover is very fragile - mine broke after about a day. and I had to fit another one after a call to Sony support found they had no parts or no offer other than returning the unit. There was a similar problem with the battery cover, which again I was able to fix myself. But aside from those minor issues, this is the best digital voice recorder I've ever used and I bought another one a few months after buying the first one. , just in case. would do it again
