Review on Sony PULSE 3D wireless computer headset, white/black by Micha Micha ᠌
Well done, but I won't buy any more.
Based on my past experiences with other headsets and headphones, I estimate that these ears cost no more than $4,000. I expected better sound quality considering I paid $8,299. (we are talking about the sampling rate, in these it feels like listening to mp3 128kbps of the late 90s and early 2022s). PlayStation 5 exclusively tested.
- The PS5 headset and controller are designed to work together seamlessly—for example, when you mute your headphones, your gamepad's microphone will likewise go silent. Put on the headphones and there will be no interruptions from the wires, unlike the wired headset I had previously attached to the controller.
- Surprisingly, the sound itself failed to make much of an impression. It seems that they praised 3D and excellent positioning, but in fact the same effect is present in any other headphones connected to the PS5 by wire and without. The headphones put a slight amount of pressure on my skull, which is slightly larger than typical, and the ear pads are too tiny for my ears (but this is a very individual story).
