As a mom to a little adventurer, I'm always looking for a comfortable and warm lining to keep my baby snuggly during outdoor activities. So I decided to try the BaseLayer Mechanics Girl fleece lined base layer set. The set arrived quickly and looked exactly like the product photos. The black camouflage pattern was cute and stylish and my daughter was happy with the design. The fabric was soft and stretchy, and the fleece lining was thick enough to provide warmth without being bulky. However, I have mixed feelings about this set of base layers. On the one hand, it serves its purpose of keeping my child warm and comfortable on cold days. The fit is true to size and the seams are well constructed to allow freedom of movement without restricting the limbs. On the other hand, I expected more from a product that claims to be mechanical. After several washes, the color began to fade and the fabric appeared like pellets. In addition, the collar of the shirt is quite tight, which makes it difficult to put on and take off without causing discomfort to the daughter. Overall, I would give BaseLayer Mechanics Girl's Fleece Lined three stars out of five. It's a decent product that does what it's supposed to do without standing out from the crowd. If you're looking for an inexpensive and functional children's staple, this might be worth considering. However, if you're looking for something that will last more than one season, you might want to explore other options.
