I used them at a construction site. At thirty degrees they kept me warm. They've maintained the same temperature, so they stay the same no matter how cold or hot they are. It took me a few minutes to feel them early in the morning, but I had to turn them off by mid-morning. I think they should be easy to use. They each lasted 3 uses before breaking. The USB connector or the cable directly at the base of the USB connector is broken on both. The pads and other cables are in excellent condition, but the entire unit is now unusable. I still wear gloves, they are good quality. The cables needed to be about 6 inches longer. I connected them to a battery that I kept in my pocket. When I reached over my head, they turned off. When they worked, they worked well. They didn't last long with heavy use.
