If this unit lasts more than a few years it will be the best heater I have ever had. But. It does have a few flaws, not the least of which is just a terrible instruction manual. There is no information about the most necessary function, namely the output from above. There are some symbols on the gauges that are not even mentioned in the instructions. They remain cryptic as I can't think of any other function than to bother me. This is a technical writing error that can be overcome by assuming we've just bought a heater and not knowing what it will do / not do, which we should assume. It swings back and forth, and the fact that the swinging part isn't visible is a plus. Nice unit, also a plus. It can be used from a certain side or while standing - hopefully it never falls in your face as there doesn't seem to be a safe shutoff function. Aside from a few minor quirks, it puts out a lot of heat. , even in low mode. That's exactly why I bought it. If I hold my hand in front of it while it's working I can feel the difference in heat flow as it oscillates. The vibrations can be stopped using either the controls on top or the remote control. (I had fun when the vibrations stopped in the middle rather than one side or the other.) All in all, I recommend this, especially if you live in a cold climate like me. It really helps warm up my room.
