I just received my colander set and here are my first impressions: I liked the size - sometimes things are smaller than expected despite looking at the measurements - this time not for me. I like the fun colors, they seem well done. I am going to hang these guys on my peg board knowing they will look amazing! One thing I didn't notice when ordering is that the handles are silicone - I love that fact because silicone is all the rage and it works so well with heat related kitchen items. sometimes things rust on their own, but I know from experience - sadly - that I am the biggest culprit in their untimely demise! Sieves should be cleaned immediately after use, first rinsed to remove residue from starchy foods such as potatoes, rice or pasta, then simply whisked with dishwater, rinsed, hand dried and then hung back up. Just throw them in the dishwater and let them soak for too long. it's just overkill.
