I've decided to "fix" the use of phantom power around the house. My electric bill, which was $70 for a year, has gone down to about $50 in the last 3-4 months. I've added this device to my entertainment area where all my components only turn on when the TV is on. I've also changed a few things around the house like keeping the computer and everything connected to it on the same power source and turning the power off at the power source after each use. I've added timers here and there and recommend it to anyone who has a much larger living space than me. Hey, $20 for 12 months = $240 for 40 years (when I turn 70), that's almost $10,000. Not bad. This device does exactly what it says on the tin, what more could you ask for? I bought this for $40.
