Review on Hot Tools 2-Inch Professional Flat Iron with 24K Gold Coating by Beth Martin

In high school and college I had a total of 3 Helen of Troy irons like this one and when Sally Beauty stopped selling them mine was mine Broken heart. Believe it or not, every new flat iron with new technology has damaged my hair, and for some reason this one hasn't. My iron was delivered to my door literally within 30 hours of placing my order and I did not pay for expedited shipping. I was in high school over 17 years ago and the iron was called the Helena of Troy, but this Hot Tools iron looks, works and when heated it even smells like the one I had when I was younger was! 4 stars only because my only complaint is that it sometimes catches my hair a bit and pulls a strand here or there, while Helen of Troy didn't. Hopefully it just takes a little hacking; Sometimes when the natural hair oils and heat protectants I apply to my hair before straightening settle on the plates, they glide over it more easily and smoothly for me.
