I have a crestliner with a center bar. I bought a towing and storage board recommended by the supplier. it was just right. My goal was to tow the boat back and forth to my cabin, about 3 hours. highway in one direction. Since the reinforcement above didn't quite follow my advice, I had to reinforce at the stress points. I agreed. I went on a trip and saw that the air was swelling at the top, and I was afraid that it would break. I bought 50 feet of rope and added more ties. it helped a little. I arrived during a rainstorm so I left the top. Everything was dry in the morning. The return trip also included additional berths. When I got home I noticed that the top was torn at the seams on both sides just in front of the vent. I've added more patches again. While I would recommend the top for storage, I would not recommend towing on the freeway.
