This watch stands out for the number of functions at an amazing price. Many of the negative reviews come from people who lack the initiative or patience to sort through the various features. I'll go through a few key features that were important to me. Setup: You need to go through the settings and set up a few things at once. I'm an Android user and notifications work for all my apps. You have to go through and choose individually which apps can send push notifications. The watch has a QR code that takes you to the link to download the APK file (app installation). Common sense will tell you that using an app that doesn't meet the security and quality control requirements of the Google Play Store (or whatever the iPhone uses) is probably not the best idea, but hey, do it, what you want. Fitness: Pedometer and heart rate monitor work great. Is the pedometer 100% accurate? no Just like my SO's Fitbit Blaze, it sometimes counts steps as you move your arms. I compared the heart rate monitor to three different cardio machines ranging from $700 to $1200 at the gym. Reads more or less the same. That's enough for me. I don't use a sleep tracker but I think it works just as well as the next big brand. The only downside is the lack of support for fitness tracking apps. You can view history on your watch, but if you want some friendly office step competition in the Fitbit app, consider buying a Fitbit SIM Card Compatibility: Yes, you can put a SIM card in this device and than use a phone. I currently have a 64GB microSD card installed which gives me hours of recording on the onboard audio recorder. You too can be James Bond with your magical space age spy watch. Battery Life: Mine lasts all day. I don't leave Bluetooth on. I use a heart rate monitor and a pedometer from time to time. I play with him in meetings.
