The hype is well deserved! Was eyeing the Countryman E6 for reliable head mics. It's $650-$700 with a good deal. I've seen the rave reviews of these mics and compared them to the E6 and found they cost less than $20 I should give it a try. WOW! Just great! Our live event was recorded in one room and we are very happy with the results. It sounded great in the room and the recordings were as clear as a bell ringing with no hiss. I got a headset with two earbuds for myself because I'm very active when I'm performing, and one earbud for my wife too. Her long hair is a little lighter, b. It seems to work well for her less active presentation style. If you don't have any particular fidelity requirements on your mic, they will serve you well and serve you well during a getaway that you can take with the money you've just saved! Update: I should have lowered my rating after using them for the record. While they seem to work great for amplifying voices, the accuracy of the recording was utterly poor and unusable. Unfortunately, E6 is most likely in our future.
