Review on Toyo Observe G3-Ice 235/45 R17 94 winter by Adam Rymko ᠌

Very pleased with this purchase, will recommend it to everyone!

The first 300-500 km had problems with rolling, there was increased noise (but still quieter than the main competitor in the form of Nordman4), it slipped at the start. After this period, the tires ran in, became noticeably quieter (I observe noise in the region of 50-60 km / h, then it becomes quiet), more predictable. Departure from the track was previously problematic - now I overcome the ice between the lanes without any problems. Dripped only once - planted in deep fresh snow, but got out in a couple of minutes. for 1500 km of high-spirited driving, the spikes are in place, only a couple of cores have broken off (the spikes are, as it were, 2-component - a hard rod is pressed with softer metal). I chose between this and Nordman4 (the same price) - I definitely made the right choice. I drove the last one in the same car - it is more rigid and noisy. But I got the most surprise when at low speed I entered the turn along the usual route in the second car with 4vd and fresh Cordiant (Sh) - I was dragged to the side. Used to Toyo, excellent holding.

Pros
  • Great price! Soft, quiet rubber, reinforced sidewall. Excellent rowing and braking on any surfaces. Holds the road and turns well.
Cons
  • It is spiked in 2022, so some of the spikes were crooked, and there weren’t a couple of pieces at all. The first 500 km you need to be careful.
