We bought this bike for our daughter so that she would stop stealing her older brother's balance bike. The curved bar makes it easier for shorter kids to use (our son has a Strider and she can't quite fit on it because of the straight bar). The pink plastic ball is a little annoying because it jiggles and I'm always nervous that it's going to pop off when the bike gets tossed down (I would love to say that my toddler is gentle on everything but I would be lying), but it hasn't so far. Overall, it's a good bike for the price. It isn't quite as high quality material as a Strider, but it's held up with our wild children so far and that's really saying something!
