Used for pit bulls. Great brush if you have a long enough suction hose.

How well this works depends a lot on your vacuum suction and hose. It fits my Hoovwr WindTunnel Pet perfectly. My problem is that I need a longer hose to use it at a better angle and prevent it from falling off, but again that's a problem with the hose. My vacuum hose says it will go "up to" 12 feet, but you really have to strain the hose and it will try to bounce back, making it less than ideal for that. I would say you probably need 3 to 4 feet of free flexible hose from a vacuum to comfortably move around to brush a large dog. With a canister vacuum it will be very good. The brush itself is strong but not harsh, and the material used is great for loose hair. I have pit bulls that shed worse than any other dog I've had. These are HUGE cowardly cats and they don't mind at all.
