Did exactly what he wanted. Good length for on the go to replace the cable that came with my headphones (which I accidentally tripped over one day so needed this spare, oops). Although it sometimes happens when I try to pause or play music on my phone using the play/pause button on the inline controls. That's why I took the star off, it often lags 1 or 2 seconds after hitting the play/pause button. And once in the blue moon, your music just won't play and you have to do it on the phone, but after that everything is fine. All in all I would recommend it, especially if you don't bother or need the inline controls very often or not at all.
