I'm a little disappointed with this sink strainer, but it may be my fault for not checking my sink carefully before purchasing it. After clearing a large clog in my sink I got this to keep hair and debris out of the drain and hopefully prevent it from happening again. But it doesn't fit. My sinks have plugs; I can remove it, but there is still a small piece of metal sticking out of the drain. This sink strainer is shaped like a cup, so it needs to fit *at the bottom* of the drain. It is impossible. So I tried putting it upside down (like a hat) on the drain. That's not possible either, because the hair just slips under the edges and ends up in the drain anyway. Perhaps I should have read the product information before buying and then took a closer look at my sink. But I feel like I wasted my money. As I have used it I will not try to return it. Just take a good look at your sink and drain before you buy to make sure it will work for you.
