I am treating my dog for an interdigital cyst and am using manuka honey and a bandage to treat the infection. I put a baby sock over the bandage and then this little dog boot and it keeps her from biting the bandage - also the boot helps keep her foot dry when she goes outside. I change my boots every day when I change the bandage---they wash fine, but I let them air dry (no heating). They are very pretty and should last a long time. The boot strap can be tightened just enough to keep the boot on the dog, but it will not harm the dog or cut off blood circulation. So I use it for medicinal purposes. Very happy with this product.
