Not designed for memory

I bought these to upgrade my laptop's memory from its meager 8GB to something that can handle my multitasking habits. Being a poor middle-class worker and RAM insanely expensive, I was naturally looking for a good deal. I looked around until my search led me to OLOy brand computer accessories. It was about 70 doll hairs cheaper than the next cheapest brand so I decided to pull the trigger and give this unknown brand a shot. Little did I know my quest for a good deal would be more than I expected. First, good. The item arrived quickly and in excellent condition. Installing RAM for a laptop is no longer a difficult task (already), so inserting both sticks into the slots was a breeze. My laptop booted up immediately, with no more fuss than I expected from a spirited Windows 10 machine. Everything was looking pretty good and I figured I'd be fine until then. The Bad: I kept getting the blue screen randomly and for different reasons. Now my laptop has had problems with BSD in the past. However, what was striking about my new predicament was the frequency with which my laptop was throwing out that horrible blue and error code cube, and how it was becoming more and more commonplace in my daily life. I almost really missed it in the days when my laptop wasn't melted. It was almost as if it were saying I wasn't good enough for its malicious attention to turn on me. I researched every error code that came up and was amazed at the scope, breadth and sheer number of different codes Microsoft used to explain the same problem. It looked like error code smd01015 for a memory leak might not match error code SMD51010 which is also related to a memory leak. Only error code SMD51010 occurred on Monday, and the previous error code smd01015 occurred on a non-holiday weekend. Whatever the case, the common underlying theme that struck me with all of them was that bad RAM processes, while not directly related, were almost always involved in some way. So I decided to test my RAM using the Windows Memory Diagnostic tool. The results were negative for errors, but I became skeptical about information from Microsoft-related programs, so I used a third-party method as well. My story is pretty long already, so I'll spare you the horrific details of everything I've been through just to find out if my laptop's memory is good or not. Suffice it to say that after my laptop melted in half, which was longer than the longest time I could imagine, I decided to use my return window with Amazon and send the memory back. Credit, I gave up every belief I ever held as a tight-fisted American capitalist and decided to spend the extra $70 and get the next cheap option I found, which happened to be a Corsair Vengeance branded RAM sticky is. After installing the new memory I had no repeat visits from my blue buddy BSD. I don't have enough experience with the OLOy brand to gossip about their products because I understand there will always be flaws. So, thanks to my fucking luck, I'll just put it down to having some asses. So give them a try if you're looking for a deal, and hopefully your experience will be less annoying than mine.
