Really disappointed with the water usage. According to the product description, the stream is "extremely strong". The spray on the device I received is so weak it doesn't even reach my body unless I hold it directly over my head. Some spray settings don't work at all. The water pressure in my house isn't as high as it should be, but I've had no problem getting enough water flow to run the other faucets in my bathroom and kitchen. I connected a different shower head to the hose and the flow was fine, so the problem is obviously with the Delta hand held shower head. I called Delta and they explained that the "Watersense" certification (see product description) means it's certified to California's low-flow requirements. The claimed 2 GPM flow rate is incorrect. According to Delta, it's actually a 1.75 GPM showerhead — the lowest flow handheld showerhead they make. The high flow shower head does not come with the rod and must be purchased separately: Delta Faucet 59424-SS-PK. The rod can also be purchased separately but costs more than the entire assembly (rod, hose and shower head) bought as a kit so it is cheaper to buy the entire kit and then mount the low flow head against the head with it high flow exchange head. I don't understand why they don't sell a high flow hand shower and shower rail as a set. UPDATE: The shower head works fine when the rubber o-ring is removed from the handle. The manufacturer doesn't seem to have the authority to tell you this, but the "O-ring" does restrict flow (many YouTube videos show how to do it). However, this shower head does not have a massage function. With nine different jet modes, you'd think one of those would be massage, but none of the settings produce a central jet or a focused jet of water.
