Review on Front Speaker Adapter for Select Lexus and Toyota Vehicles - Metra 82-8146 6x9 by Andre Hawkins

This worked well on my 2010 Toyota Prius. After drilling out the rivets, I used appropriately sized sheet metal screws to attach the bracket to my door. It fits snugly, doesn't rattle and has good torque at the prop. I used the screws that came with the speaker to attach the speaker to the bracket. However, I have found that it is possible to easily remove the plastic with the screws if too much force is applied, but all of mine are tight, again no noticeable vibration on any of the mounting surfaces. I installed a pair of Rockford Fostgate P1692 6x9 speakers. Everything went great.
