This has helped my kids - it could be improved with a few simple changes - 1) It would be helpful to use lace half one color and half the other to help the child see the difference between the two sides B. by manipulating the lace to make a loop - ideally it should also include a solid color lace so kids can go there and not rely on half the lace. I put a permanent marker on one side of our lace but let's just say it rubs off, although I used a brand marker so my kid hands look like they're wrapping the kitchen in newspaper when they're done The below would be helpful.
