Review on Rite Lite LPL748W White LED Spotlight - High Output Performance for Maximum Brightness by Mark Powell

I had a 50" wide laminated map and the only place to hang it was in a dark, narrow hallway, but I needed good lighting to read it. These lights did a very good job of covering the entire map with light. Of course they're spotlights, so there are hotspots, but they rotate so easily, making them great for taking a closer look at a specific area of the map. . They run on 3 AA batteries (not AAA as some information here states - 3 AAA doesn't give enough brightness). For this use they are perfect. I only turn them on when I need them so the batteries last. They would also be good for shaping or accenting, but probably not versatile enough to cover large flat artwork well.
