This can opener is a big disappointment. Even with brand new batteries, he has almost no power to cut off the top of the jar. Then when it's finally complete, it doesn't open the lid and keeps working. I ended up cutting my finger trying to separate the lid and opener. Don't waste money on it. I have the best quality because he has no power.
