Review on 🚗 McKee's 37 Hydro Blue Ceramic Car Wax Spray: Advanced SiO2 Hydrophobic Top Coat Paint Sealant Protection, 22 fl. oz. by Tony Ledbetter

I have been detailing cars (and my family's cars) for many years and never thought that applying an effective end product would be so easy. I'm not a fan of the new nanocoatings because I like to apply and reapply protection to the paint; I love polishing and car care in general, so I don't need "permanent" solutions. So I prefer waxes and base sealers like Collinite 845 IW, Sonax High Speed Wax, Sonax Nano Wax and Menzerna Powerlock. I first bought the Hydro Blue in a small atomizer to try it out based on the positive reviews and videos I've seen. I thought if a spray/spray product could offer coating-like protection and hydrophobic properties for even two months, that would be amazing. Plus the fact that I can charge it every other wash is a bonus. Add to that the fact that this product can be applied over wax or sealer (according to McKees) and I found it versatile enough to buy. The first application was on my girlfriend's civilian car which was NOT treated. very good. I washed then used Iron-x (no clay) and applied Hydro Blue to the 100% wax free paint. It went instantly from matte with no beading to glossy with intense beading/filming. A few weeks have passed and everything is as good as the first day. The second application took place after a complete correction on the BMW E46. This will be the baseline protection for this car and I will either continue to fill it with Hydro Blue or apply one of my favorite waxes/seals on top. The smoothness is amazing and the fact that everything (windows, trim, wheels) is protected is just great. Some of the black E46 parts are not perfect and need to be degreased/cleaned and protected by me. with other products. If you're familiar with the E46, you know that the black stuff around the side mirrors can be a little tricky to handle at times. I was sold and bought this 128oz which was damaged and leaking in the packaging. Called the number given after hours and was surprised when Nick picked up the phone. He will help with the broken bottle. McKees seems to get the customer service of a small company, which I really appreciate. Hydro Blue is my first McKees product in my garage of almost any product you can list. I will definitely buy more!
