Starts very compact, loosens quite a bit over time.
This is my second time to purchase these shower puffs for myself and my three teenage sons. My boys like that the puffs aren't too feminine looking and I like the price and value of a four-pack. When I first received the shower puff, I was surprised by how tightly compacted it was and, initially, it was a bit hard to build up a lather as a result. However, over the next month or so, the puff loosened up a bit and it was easier to build up a good lather with it. I usually use them for three months or so before I discard them because they're almost completely loose and floppy.
