Leather but not exactly what I expected
The belt appears to be leather but the finish on the belt doesn't match the pictures at all. The pictures show dyed leather, but what arrived seems to be coated with a paint or plastic that covers that this isn't top grain. You can see the brown coating bunch up and stretch out when bending the belt. Unfortunately, I don't see the finish lasting on this belt longer than a few weeks but I'll update if I'm wrong.

Second KeeCow belt I bought, I did have issue with my first belt, the screws that you have to remove to cut the belt to size snapped off when I put it back together, probably my fault I over torqued it and why they include a replacement set but I didn''t like how easy it was to break so I bought a set of slightly thicker Chicago screws on amazon and use those instead. Time will tell if the leather splits or cracks, good value for the price so it works for me.
