The material is very soft and thin. Stretches easily and is comfortable to wear. Sizes run true to size or somewhat larger. You definitely don't have to order a larger size than you normally wear. Colors are great. I waited to write this review in order to put them through several wash cycles. They don't shrink and they do hold their shape. I prefer a tighter stronger collar, but this is a personal preference and I won't use int to downgrade the rating. So far, the collars haven't sagged due to washing. Overall, I like these a lot and they definitely are "fitness active wear."
