Excellent stitch markers

I think the measurements are in centimeters not inches as they are marked. The description says my marks are 2.5 inches long and shorter, about 2.5 cm. These are excellent stitch markers. The part that goes through your knit is very thin and looks flimsy, but the plastic used is very pliable, not brittle, and will withstand prolonged use without any noticeable change. They are stronger than they seem. I like removable stitch markers for things like marking the "knit" side of what you are working on, or marking the beginning of a row that is on the "knit" side, or a row with 2 patterns. row patterns or many other things. When I am knitting a scarf and I want it to be a certain length, when I go through the middle I mark the middle with this marker. Then I can immediately see how close I am to completion just by laying down cards at the marker. You might want to take more accurate measurements at the very end, but this gives you a good idea. If you're putting this on the front and back of a sweater, you'll need to measure accurately, but for a scarf, a fraction of an inch isn't a big deal. I carry a lot of projects and try to make it easy on myself when I'm doing it. For example, if you're waiting at the doctor's office, pull out a tape measure, and start measuring, you'll get a call and have a lot of things to pack. high. This is ideal for measurements that should only be rough. For measurements that need to be accurate, this can save you the hassle of fetching measurement tools dozens of times. You don't have to measure until you get really close to the ideal.
