As a mother of a toddler with constant colds or upper respiratory tract infections, I have to say this humidifier saved a life! We've had ours since she was 6 months old so over 2 years and she's still working fine. It's quiet, easy to use and most importantly EFFICIENT. It instantly cools the air and helps my daughter get some much-needed rest when she's sick. I also know how long it takes with the amount of water put in the tank. I don't have to worry about it being empty in the middle of the night. I keep it close enough to a place where mist can surround my daughter and I have no complaints because she sleeps well and even breathes well when in use.
