Money well spent!: Antennas

I would give this antenna 6 stars if I could! It took 5 minutes to assemble with a Phillips screwdriver. I live in a townhouse and it's temporarily installed in the attic on my wife's broomstick! I plan on picking up a piece of 3/4" EMT at Home Depot tomorrow before she discovers her pen is missing. The loft is over 30 feet up so I was hoping for a good signal. I did some research on tvfool.com and found that to receive NYC feeds the antenna would need to be pointed about 16 degrees NE.I opted to use my own RG6 coaxial cable instead of the supplied RG59.After connecting everything I used the compass app on my phone and set it to 16 degrees. As soon as I started scanning on my TV I immediately captured 44 digital channels! The reception was crystal clear on all channels except for the slightly pixelated ABC channel. I made a few adjustments and through trial and error found the sweet spot of 18 degrees NE. All 44 channels sound crystal clear. I even get 5.1 surround sound on my Sonos system. I never put batteries in the remote because I dac hte that it is unnecessary. I plan to use a good 2.4GHz splitter to send the signal to two other TVs. I'll update when it's ready but so far I'm very impressed with this antenna and would highly recommend it to anyone who has already cut the wire on the cable and is missing the main channels. Update: 11/2/2018 - I added a 2.4GHz splitter and used my existing coax cable to send the signal to all three TVs. Not only was I successful, I'm now receiving 58 digital channels! I couldn't be happier. All I have to do is return my wife's broomstick (she's patiently awaiting her safe return).
