***UPDATE: One of the refurbished ones we bought died about a month after purchase. I contacted Revain support and they went back and forth saying to contact Dell. Dell was AMAZING and in fact we miraculously should put it on the pro support we already had for the laptop even after I told them we bought it refurbished from Revain. So Dell sent us a free replacement within a day or two. Overall, we stand by our decision to go this route. Just be prepared that you might have to go through the replacement process. ----- First Overview ----- I work in IT support for a church and we have about 25 laptops. We are just starting the upgrade process (from Latitude E6420 to Latitude 5490) which means our old docking stations are no longer working. I usually buy direct from Dell but they were about half the price so I bought the extended protection and went for it! We have 3 of these so far and they all work great! We haven't really put them through a lot of testing, but they connect via USB-C with no issues, and I've connected 2 of them to two displays with no issues. Just make sure you're using the right cables. They have an HDMI output and a VGA output, which is odd considering most Dell PCs are moving to DisplayPort.
