I've been a long-time fan of OXO rotary cleaners - they're comfortable to hold and easy to use. I prefer the pivoting style for most things, which is why I didn't have a Y-knife. However, while visiting a friend recently, I realized that Y-blades are perfect for large veggies like zucchini, which has always frustrated me. So I'm definitely going to buy myself and my mom an OXO Y-Peeler before Thanksgiving. As expected it was good value for money and easy to use.
