Super easy to connect and switch by itself! When you plug it in, all of your connected devices will turn on. Turn them all off. If your TV is on and all devices are off, you can turn on the device and the switch will be toggled automatically. The only time you need to use the button on it or the remote control is when you have more than one device turned on at the same time. IE your PlayStation is on and updating while you want to use your cable box. Looks good and works well. The remote control is very simple and cheap, but does what it is supposed to do. If you only have one thing at a time, you'll never need a remote anyway. Requires USB power and I simply used the USB port on my TV to power it with no problem. Great product for the price.
