This travel cot exceeded my expectations! When folded, it's about the same size and shape as my backpack, but a little lighter. However, where it shines is when it's unfolded (i.e. when it's used, right). When unfolded it is slightly narrower and longer than a backpack, perfect for my tall toddler as he grows up. In other mini-beds she has to lie diagonally, but here she can lie straight, leaving free space. I also love the little "door" at floor level that doesn't close, it really helps when I want to give her the freedom to come out on her own. My two children were also particularly enthusiastic about it, they used it as a "tent" and played in the open crib. This gave them a special place that made them feel like they were in a cramped guest room.
