These lights were very easy to put in, and they're very bright. They make a huge difference at night.But, if you drive an EV (or PHEV) like me, you may want to be aware that these things do make noise. a low hum is audible through the whole car whenever they're on and the car is moving slow or stopped. In a car with a running engine, I'm sure it wouldn't even be noticeable. so this is a unique to EV issue. But now my headlights make more noise than my car's propulsion system, and it's weird.In my case, I put them in a Chevy Volt. I'll be leaving them in for now to see if I can get used to the noise, but I may be shopping around to see if I can find a fanless model with a larger heatsink instead or something.
